The NTU Archery Team competed at the 2016 US Intercollegiate Archery Championships at the Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista, California, May 19-22, 2016. The mixed team of Maukenzi Moore & Shane Tsosie won a Bronze medal in the Mixed Team Bowhunter category. They bested Mississippi College 137 to 126 and advance to semifinals but fell to eventual champs, University of Cumberlands 121 to 145.
The NTU team competed in the Bronze match against Northeast Community College and won 130 to 120. During the awards banquet, team members received honors as Filiberto Vecenti was selected All-American in Recurve Men and two selections in the Best New Archer category for Best New Archer Bowhunter Women was Maukenzi Moore and Best New Archer Bowhunter Men was Chase Bebo. Congratulations, archery team for an outstanding year in archery.

We are proud of our Rodeo Team. Navajo Technical University won the "Most Improved Rodeo of the Year" in Grand Canyon Region.
Congratulations to Benji Sam and Archie Becenti. They will compete in the National College Rodeo Finals in Casper, WY in June 12 – 18, 2016.
