Our NTU Rodeo Team came in 1st place at the University of Arizona College Rodeo.

  • Benji Sam came in 1st place in Team Roping.
  • Tyson Charley and Jay Becenti came in 3rd place in Team Roping.
  • Jared Pino came in 3rd place in Steer Wrestling.

Please come and support our NTU Rodeo Team for our NTU College Rodeo in Window Rock, AZ on April 1, 2016 @ 6:00PM and April 2, 2016 @ 9:30AM and 3:00PM.

Here are the results from our NTU Rodeo Team this past weekend at Central Arizona College Rodeo March 12th through March 13th:

  • Soshane Kee scored 63 points in bronc riding and placed 2nd on March 12th.
  • Benji Same came in place 2nd with 6.9 seconds in his team roping event on March 12th.
  • March 13th Rodeo we did not score points, but our team did not give up. They worked hard. We are proud of our Rodeo Team.

Good luck to our NTU Rodeo Team this past weekend. They will be traveling to Tucson, AZ to compete in the University of AZ College Rodeo on March 19th.

Here are the results from our NTU Rodeo Team this past weekend at Cochise College Rodeo March 5th through March 6th.

  • Soshane Kee scored 66 pts in bronc riding and placed third in 1st performance.
  • Benji Sam came in place first with 7.5 second in his team roping event 1st performance.
  • Even though we did not do well in short go. We are proud of our Rodeo Team.

Good luck to our NTU Rodeo Team this weekend. They will be traveling to Florence, AZ to compete in Central AZ College Rodeo March 12th through March 13th.

Good luck to our NTU Archery Team this weekend. They will be traveling to Diné College in Tsaile, AZ to compete in the West National Indoors on February 26th through 28th.

NTU teams have goals to place in their conference, regional, and national championships in a variety of sports. Winning teams have become a tradition at NTU in both men’s and women’s sports. Community support for intercollegiate athletics at NTU has been outstanding. The caliber of coaching, the quality of uniforms and equipment, the training and medical facilities, and the opportunity to play against good competition are superior. NTU Athletic Programs aspire to the highest level of intercollegiate competition, sportsmanship and academic excellence through the University mission.
